Yes, I do get this question quite often.
Almost everyone I meet is shocked that I will let them try a new vacuum in their home or business before buying and ask me how do you do that? Answer, just ask me!
Yes, I also make vacuum house calls! (For Small businesses too) When anyone Needs a vacuum repair I let them know I will pick it up. Reaction; What? Seriously? I tell them "Yep, As far as I know PCH Equipment is the only company in North County that will pick up your vacuum, service it and return it to you." Crazy as my service sounds the comments and feedback are tremendous. Don't believe me? Read some reviews. There are more reviews on Yelp and Google if you still are not convinced.
Most of my new clients are too busy to find a reliable vacuum repair store, shut in's or really want to try a quality new vacuum before they buy it. Everyone has questions on the best vacuum choice for their situation or the most popular question, " Is my vacuum worth repairing?" I answer all their questions then make a recommendation; I even bring out vacuums to try. It's like having a vacuum Doctor that makes house calls. How do I make a living? I don't really. I only do this part time but it would be a blast to be able to make it a full time gig. I love the conversations, the happy faces when something as simple as their vacuum is running in top condition. It really makes my day.
Old fashioned? Absolutely, I grew up in an era of personalized service that got lost in the world of Social Media. I like fixing things and making people's day in a small way. After 10 years of fixing vacuums I felt it was time to bring back the old fashioned House call. So there you have it; the birth of PCH Equipment Solutions.
Although I started by catering to small businesses that prefer on site consultation to their cleaning equipment needs the vacuum "house call" segment started as a convenience for a few friends and some people that had to drive 30 miles to get to their closest vacuum service center. 5 years and 500 clients later it is a staple in the business. It should be; the fee is reasonable and you save hours out of your day to drop off, wait to be fixed and pick up your repaired vacuum. Convenience, reliability and none of the hassle. The comments from clients are amazing. I am truly blessed.
I thank God daily for the ability to help out anyone and everyone that owns or needs a vacuum. Someday I would like to do this business full time so if you are a small business or resident of North County San Diego that likes personalized service give me a call.
